To apply, create a Scout Express account and complete your profile on the platform. Then browse the job listings and click the "details" button on a job you’re interested in. Once you click this button, you will be able to see mode details and an "Apply" button on the top right corned of the page. Click on this button. If that particular job is not linked to an assessment, this will send your resume and application information through Scout Express to the employer. If there is an assessment linked to the job, you will be asked to schedule your test and once and if you clear the cut-offs to that test, your profile will be sent to employer as an applicant (Scout Express calls this the Scout Express Apply system.) Note that Scout Express may limit how many jobs you can apply to, as it states that it can impose limits on applications to maintain the quality of service

A sponsored job is one where the employer covers the cost of candidate assessments, allowing the job to be promoted widely and accessed by a larger pool of applicants at no cost to the candidate. However, their visibility may vary depending on factors such as whether the job is listed as public or member-only.
Any non-sponsored job requires candidates to pay the applicable assessment and/or application fee themselves in order to apply.
Yes. Scout Express requires jobseekers to pay for certain services. Assessment and/or application fee is total of INR200 for non sponsored jobs. However if there is an assessment linked to any job, the candidate needs to spend only one credit. The platform also treats job discovery as a premium service, implying that candidates needs to be an active member to see certain jobs whose visibility is set to "member only". Any credits purchased on the platform are non refundable. Refund policy states that any platform or exam fee “cannot be refunded in any circumstances” once an exam is scheduled or a job is applied for, but in an unfortunate scenario of a candidate getting rejected the credit can be reused one more time for any other job.
ICE (Industry-Connect Enabler) is Scout Express’s membership program. It offers tiered career support (e.g. Gold and Diamond programs) to students. ICE members get access to benefits like AI-driven assessments, resume enhancement tools, expert workshops, and industry-recognized certification courses. For example, both Gold and Diamond programs include resume-building and LinkedIn workshops, AI tutoring, and multiple placement drives of choice. ICE membership isn’t required to use the platform, but it gives you additional training and priority access to certain job fairs and drives (for instance, Gold members get “Priority Access to hot jobs” for one year. Completing ICE certifications and workshops can bolster your qualifications, potentially making you more competitive for relevant jobs.
Scout Express uses an AI-based matching system. By uploading a detailed resume and /or completing profile, the platform identifies job listings that contain similar keywords or requirements as your background. In practice, Scout Express will automatically suggest and share jobs that match the content of your resume. It may also email you recommended jobs based on your profile information and activity (such as your listed skills, past searches, and previous applications). In short, the system continuously compares your resume and answers to job descriptions to highlight roles where your skills fit well.
