Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with gold loan customers.

Handle inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Loan OriginationAssist customers in the loan application process.Explain loan terms, interest rates, and documentation requirements.

Gold AppraisalEvaluate the quality and value of gold jewelry submitted as collateral.Assess purity, weight, and market value.

Loan DisbursementManage the disbursement process.Ensure timely and accurate release of loan amounts.

DocumentationMaintain accurate records including loan agreements, promissory notes, and collateral details.

Repayment ManagementMonitor repayments and educate customers on schedules and options.

Customer EducationInform customers about loan terms, interest rates, and consequences of default.

ComplianceEnsure all processes follow banking and regulatory guidelines.

Cross-SellingPromote other financial products like savings accounts, fixed deposits, or insurance.

Risk Management

Assess and mitigate risks related to gold loan defaults and collateral value.

This apprenticeship includes an attractive stipend and valuable on-the-job experience in the financial services sector.

 

Role: Apprentice

Key Responsibilities: As an Apprentice, you will:

• Assist in day-to-day branch operations under the guidance of branch staff.

• Support customer service functions, including handling customer inquiries and assisting with basic service requests.

• Manage documentation, filing, and data entry of branch-related records.

• Help in updating customer KYC and maintaining internal registers.

• Coordinate with senior staff for loan file preparation, account verification, and report compilation.

• Assist in back-office and administrative support tasks such as printing, scanning, and maintaining records.

• Support in digital initiatives like e-filing, portal updates, and online reporting.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all assigned duties.

  • STEP 1: PSYCHOMETRIC TEST (Level 1) [ Examination Fee: NIL ]
    All candidates are required to attend a psychometric test immediately after registration. The scores will be considered only during final evaluation. This is not a barrier for further process, but the scores lets the candidate self assess his chances of clearing the selection procedure and take decisions accordingly.

  • STEP 3: Document submission and interview
    Once the aptitude test is cleared, the candidates will be required to submit the required documents, and interviews will be slotted by the hiring team at Manappuram Finance limited.

  • STEP 4: Branch Allocation and Joining

    Once the candidate clears the interview, the candidate shall be allotted branches to join. The employment is subject to company policies and background verifications.
